Workshops & Speaking
Curiosity by Design offers workshops and speaking sessions for founders, internal change leaders, teams, communities, and conferences navigating complexity, dissonance, change, and the lived architecture of learning.
These sessions help people notice what is shaping the work, name what is no longer holding, and move with more clarity before more people, time, or energy move through the system.
Some problems do not need more content.
They need a room where people can see the pattern together.
My workshops and speaking sessions are designed for moments when the work matters, but the current architecture is creating confusion, contradiction, overload, or drift.
They help people slow down, notice what is actually shaping behavior, and make clearer choices about what needs to be protected, redesigned, or released.
Core Workshops
Curate the Collapse
For navigating overwhelm, contradiction, and signal overload with more discernment.
Sort signal from overload.
Slow down what you’re taking in, reacting to, repeating, and building from.
When everything feels loud, urgent, and flattened, this workshop helps people slow down and sort signal from noise.
Participants examine what they are taking in, reacting to, repeating, and building from, so they can move with more intention instead of being shaped by default.
Design Your Dissonance
For noticing where the current architecture is misaligned and what needs redesign.
Name what feels off.
Locate the misalignment in the work, room, message, system, or experience.
This is for people and teams who can feel that something is off - in the work, the room, the message, the system, or the experience - but do not yet have clean language for what is happening.
Participants learn to name the tension, locate the misalignment, and identify what needs to shift next.
Creative Immunity
For protecting what matters in environments that flatten people, ideas, and judgment.
Protect what stays alive.
Stay clear, human, and intact inside pressure, complexity, and competing demands.
This workshop explores how people lose signal, agency, and creative aliveness under pressure.
Participants examine what helps them stay clear, human, and intact while moving through complexity, urgency, and competing demands.
Speaking and conference sessions
I also offer talks and conference sessions on the hidden architecture of learning, work, and change.
These sessions are especially useful for audiences thinking about:
learning and capability-building
leadership and organizational change
GenAI and workplace adaptation
service design and experience design
creativity, agency, and attention
the conditions that shape trust, participation, and behavior
Possible session themes include:
Every Service has a Hidden Curriculum
How services teach people what to expect, what to trust, and how to participate before anything is formally explained.
Designed Learning is the Quiet Architecture of Everything
A practical lens for seeing how environments train attention, set defaults, and shape what gets rewarded, repeated, and respected.
From Activity to Capability to Agency
How to design learning and change experiences that move beyond content delivery into real use, judgment, and participation.
Attention is the Real Curriculum
What people learn to notice, ignore, rush past, or protect inside modern work.
